What do you get when you save fabric scraps for seven years even though your husband relentlessly makes fun of you for doing so?

A fun and colorful scrap quilt at a next-to-nothing price. With a tip from our local sewing guru and another from Aunt Judy, I stitched scraps of fabric in a very random pattern onto muslim squares and then used the "Quilt as You Go" method to attach it to a fleece blanket that I bought on sale for $2.40.

Needless to say, Cameron was quite impressed I turned all those pieces of trash into a masterpiece.
